The FS200 system uses a scanner to image a cross section and then runs the FS200 software to measure profile characteristics such as dimensions, angles, shapes and colors. PLV’s powerful approach allows for the same multiple orientation measurements (different Datums on the same part) often required in this industry and can measure without the inherent subjectivity of shadow-graphs. The system then saves measurement data for analysis, archives the measured profile image, and print reports.
